November

Autumn light: there's less of it, what with the change of season, but what light remains is always paler and softer than summer light.

My test knitter is in England, clicking her away with her needles. Every time I get one of her carefully packed boxes (she packs hers so much more thoughtfully than I pack mine...) with a finished object I've designed I freak a bit. It feels like magic.

The publication of the patterns has been delayed due to business-related difficulties. I can't seem to find a good accountant, and I've run through three so far who don't know what to do with a business that sells knitting patterns and classes. The issue, apparently, is that there's no tangible object being sold. Why that makes a difference in the state of Illinois, I don't know. I find it all pretty hilarious, seeing as how I live in the third largest city in the nation. You'd think someone here might have figured it out by now! In fact, I'm sure many have. I've just not had time to hunt down anyone new after failed attempt #3. Suggestions?
